Well... that was quite the rollercoaster, wasn't it? So many ups and downs, but we hit the important points in the campaign.
Thank you so very much for your support in making this dream happen. Todd is currently organizing things in Backer Kit, so look out for your surveys in the near future.
In the meantime, we did have twelve supporters whose pledges Kickstarter was not able to collect. When you have a chance, please check your billing information to ensure everything is in order and that your pledge is not affected. We don't want anyone to miss out on their Christmas goodies!

It's Getting Real...

Good morning, everyone!
Just over one day left and we can practically feel the book in our hands!
Yesterday, Todd received the promised mock-ups from the printer:
This is an actual representation of how the special edition is going to look beneath its jacket. The image doesn't even do it justice... that is the gold foil embossing on the cloth cover.
In any case, if there is anything you've been considering upgrading to, or adding to your pledge, now is the time... just 29 hours remain before we get this party started!
And speaking of parties, yesterday was my birthday and Todd has graciously given me permission to let you know about a little something I'm running right now...
What is Christmas without sugarplums, right? I have a tiny campaign I am running for Treats from My Kitchen, and if any of you are interested in some goodies to nosh while you are waiting for your books to arrive, I hope you might check it out.
I make homemade flavor-infused candied ginger, chocolate-dipped candied ginger, homemade toffee, cookies, and (for those who prefer savory...) teriyaki beef jerky.
(Yes, these are photographs of my treats.)
I have already begun making (and freezing) goodies for this campaign, so delivery should happen before the end of May. Though I caution... unless you freeze them as well, they might not last until September, when the books arrive ;) LOL
Anyway, I hope you might check it out, and if you're good for now, so are we, but please consider sharing the word, because campaigns like this make it possible for us to make our magic in an increasingly unmagical world.

Who Wants Santa's Autograph?!

That's right, folks! We have unlocked our first stretch goal! The add-on for Santa's Autograph (which comes with both Todd's autograph and a photograph of Santa signing) has been created and made active.
For those who aren't sure how to add that, just go to the campaign page and click the button that says Manage My Pledge, then click the button that says change my pledge. Once you are on the page that shows you the pledge levels, click the green button that says "pledge $" Click that if you want your pledge level to remain the same, and once you click the green button KS will show you the available add-ons, one of which is Santa!
Now... want to see if we can make those Christmas cards happen too? Wouldn't that be wonderful? The images from this book are so joyous, I can't imagine anyone not smiling if they received a card at the holidays featuring that art.
In any case, thank you so much, those of you who have stuck with us and gotten us to this point. There has been so much yoyoing activity this time around that our heads are spinning with it, but we are so glad to have been able to make this special goal possible.

Last night I was honored to be a guest on Stan Brown's podcast, "50 Years in the Dungeon." We chatted about our almost-30-years of friendship, our time at TSR and then Wizards of the Coast. Stan generously allowed me to hijack his show for about 45 minutes, and at the 1:03:05 mark, we preview the entire book live.
